The Millard and Muriel Jacobs Genetics and Genomics Laboratory, in the Division of Biology, provides genomic research tools to Caltech scientists, with an initial emphasis on microarray and large-scale gene expression profiling experiments.  The Laboratory is equipped with the necessary experimental and bioinformatics infrastructure to generate, store, and analyze large-scale datasets from a variety of microarray technological platforms.  It is located in the Kerckhoff building, rooms 102-108.

The Laboratory is directed by Dr. Igor Antoshechkin.  The overseeing committee consists of Caltech Professors Drs. David Anderson, Elliot Meyerowitz, Melvin Simon, Paul Sternberg and Barbara Wold.

The Laboratory is supported by the Muriel and Millard Jacobs Fund for Genomics and Genetic Technology and the Millard and Muriel Jacobs Family Foundation.
